Sarah Witzig started her career early on in high school where she worked for Douglas County Management and Finance. She has always wanted to do something relating to numbers. She successfully fought with her high school to provide an accounting 2 class and was the only student in her entire student body that took this class. Payroll has always come naturally to her, and she enjoys providing quality services to her clients.

After working several years for PeaceHealth Financial Services in Eugene, Sarah came back to Douglas County to be close to family and get a degree in the field she had always been passionate about. She studied accounting at Umpqua Community College where she got an associate degree of Applied Science in Business Technology – Accounting.

Before finishing college, she had two beautiful children whom she enjoys spending her down time with. Her family enjoys swimming and camping in the summer and playing in the snow, when they can get to it, in the winter. Fall and winter are her favorite seasons as it is cold and there is football. If it were up to her, football would be played year around.

Donna joined the firm in January 2020 as a Senior Staff Accountant. She received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Plant Science from the University of California at Davis in 1981. After moving to Roseburg in 1987, she worked in public accounting in various capacities, including tax preparation for businesses, trusts, and individuals; retirement plan administration and auditing; financial statement preparation; accounting system design and software installation for clients; and firm administration. After 24 years in public accounting, she spent eight years as office manager of a large family-owned farm.

In her free time, Donna enjoys spending time with Jack and their dogs, singing and playing piano and guitar, performing in concerts and musical theater productions, reading, and gardening.

Mikel is an Enrolled Agent specializing in small business, farm and timber returns. After 7 years in the Portland area performing tax planning, preparation, payroll administration, and business administration consulting, he returned to Roseburg to provide tax services to his hometown community. He also makes guest appearances at local high school and middle schools to educate students on their US tax obligations before they wish they knew. Mikel enjoys cooking, programming, and amateur radio operations with his wife and family.

Chauntell joined the firm in 2020 preparing business tax returns, preparing and reviewing 1040s, performing bookkeeping and accounting services, and payroll and IT. She graduated high school in Roseville, CA in 2002 and moved to Oregon. Chauntell started attending Umpqua Community College in 2002 for a year and went back in 2009 before moving to Medford and receiving her Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer from Rogue Community College in 2012. She graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Managerial Accounting along with a certificate of Business Information Systems with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems. In 2015, in one of her business classes, she and her team received a 3x Global Top 100 in Business Policy and Strategy Award. In 2015 she and her family moved back to Roseburg, after her Father-In-Law passed away, to run the office and books for her husband’s family’s internet company while she finished school.

Chauntell met her husband while attending UCC in 2002, they married in 2006 and have 3 children that are mid-teen to young adults in age. In her spare time (as if there is any) she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. After her cousin died in a moped accident in 2017, Chauntell and her family got in touch with legislators and began the process of passing a helmet law in Hawaii (lexislaw808.com) and after much effort, it successfully passed in 2021. During Covid, she taught herself how to sew so she could make masks to donate to her community. She also taught herself how to crochet and now she does both as a hobby.

Ahmed Halabiya is originally from Palestine and moved to the U.S. in 2024. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management from Al-Quds University. Ahmed passed the CPA exams in 2025 and is completing the required work experience for full licensure. He previously interned at Ernst & Young as an auditor and with a private glass company as an accountant. Outside of work, Ahmed enjoys riding dirt bikes and playing guitar, combining his love for adventure and creativity.
